“Catching Up with the Joneses” and “Donkey Rides” are two works of family history published as hard copies and in pdf under the Feral Publications imprint. They were written for the descendants of the Jones and Monkman families but anyone is welcome to read them. If you are a descendant of one of the families, we’d love to hear from you!
Catching Up with the Joneses tells the story of Charles and Eva Jones, their antecedents and extended family. The 50-page narrative, published in 2011 and updated in 2014 and 2020, begins with John and Rebecca Remington, who feature also in No Simple Passage. From there we follow their children, grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The book also contains a record of physical associations in Wellington and the relevant family trees.

Donkey Rides: a memoir was written by my mother, Pauline Jones, and published in 2014. In addition to recording the salient experiences of her interesting and unusual life, it tells the story of the Monkman family, starting with the medieval village of Wharram Percy in 1675. 104 pages.
